This is my take on the 'Wuffletron 9000' from Greg H. Landsman's insane alternate timeline Neon Genesis Evangelion fanfiction: "Nobody Dies".
After the Eighth Angel Sandalphon gets pasted and reincarnates as a smaller version of himself, he joins NERV(figuring it's a good idea to NOT be on the side opposite the ones with the godawfully powerful and painful firepower and people who hit you with helicopter doors) and acquits himself quite well, to the point that the Ree(the fully sentient and just plain SCARY fae clone sisters of Rei Ayanami), besides calling him 'Wuffles', build him a remote controlled heavily armed avatar of his old form, so he can join in the fun fighting the other Angels(who still persist in running themselves up on the pikes of NDNERV). The Wuffletron has thus far made one ND-canon appearance in the series.
This is the 'Wuffletron-B', as it sports a five-fingered hand and khaki paint job, indicating some post-episode 53 tinkering(or maybe it's a pre-episode 53 prototype).
